I sold my first knife in 1978 and have been making them for 31 years. Blades are fine Damascus steel and the handles are made of ancient wooly mammoth ivory, lustrous pearl, rare and exotic woods. Many are intricately carved and inlaid with semi-precious stones; all are polished to perfection. Each knife reflects the inspiration and imagination of it's maker. A part of my vision is to create a marriage of fine art and functionality, with a particular emphasis on originality of design. My knives can be found in prestigious collections throughout the world. They have appeared in numerous knife publications and I was featured in Fine Art Magazine / 2006. Recently one of my Bowie knives was placed in the permanent collection at the Alamo museum, deep in the heart of Texas. For this I am honored and grateful, as it was the culmination of a lifelong dream. Cactus Jack, pictured below, is one of my favorite creations.
If you would like to own one of my custom knives, give me a call and we can discuss our project.

"Cactus Jack" was inspired by the dramatic sweeping blades of Mexico. The carved 7" blade & bolsters were created from a billet of twist pattern Damascus steel. An Arizona pyrope garnet inlay & carved eagle with heat colored golden feathers adorns the rocker release (lock). The jalapeno green handle scales are ancient wooly mammoth ivory, which garners its various colors from mineralization. The handle spine is carved with Apache arrows flying in two directions. The cactus blade protector is made from titanium & the carving in it is anodized southwest blue sky.
